This famous temple is located at Triyuginarayan village, in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand. This shrine is believed to be the very place where Lord Shiva and Devi Parvati were betrothed more than a lakh years ago. It is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and also has three sacred bathing ponds. A perpetual fire burns within the temple premise and it is believed that those who carry the ashes of this fire back home with them will enjoy marital bliss. The importance of this temple is mentioned in the Hindu scripture, Sthala Purana. This would be the best place to start the auspicious beginnings of a relationship of a lifetime. 

LAKSHMI NARAYAN MANDIR IN NEW DELHI

This was the first huge Hindu temple constructed in Delhi covering a large area and featuring a number of fountains, sub-shrines and a big garden. Built by industrialist Jugal Kishore Birla, it was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi and is also known as Birla Mandir. This is the only temple in the capital city Delhi besides the Arya Samaj temple that allows the hosting of Hindu wedding ceremonies. 

GURUVAYUR TEMPLE IN KERELA

This temple is located in Guruvayur town in Kerala. It was constructed around five thousand years back to worship Lord Krishna. It is known as Bhuloka Vaikunta or the Holy dwelling of Lord Vishnu on earth. It is among the few ancient temples in the country where Hindu wedding ceremonies take place even today. To marry at this temple, one requires a marriage ticket which is provided by the temple. The marriage rituals within the temple premises last for 10 minutes after which the couple can apply for a marriage certificate from the Guruvayur Municipality on the same day against a small payment. 

ISKCON TEMPLE IN BANGALORE

Located at Rajajinagar in Bangalore, this Iskcon temple is one of the biggest Iskcon temples in the world. It had a huge complex and a beautiful structure with a lovely pond and stunning interiors. It has a holy and mystical aura and is the perfect wedding destination for those looking for a temple marriage.

BHOGANANDISHWARA TEMPLE IN NANDI HILLS

This temple is located at the base of Nandi Hills in the state of Karnataka near Bengaluru. It is a beautiful venue for weddings. In fact, within the temple, an attractive traditional wedding site is connected to one of the three temple shrines. The architecture is a magnificent mix of the Vijayanagara, Chola and Hoysala empires. Photographing weddings here is a sheer delight!
