Ours is the story of a Bihari Guy and a Punjabi Girl. Shashikant is based in Patna and I’m from Nagpur. We both work in Bangalore, Shashikant at a US-based healthcare firm while I am an entrepreneur. Shashi says my eyes were truly the window to my soul – that he saw incredible qualities in me when we met three years ago. He often tells me that he felt he’d always known me though he’d never seen me before and when he went down on one knee to ask me to marry him, he saw his future in my eyes. And it’s true.
